I am so impressed with your website. My search at Petfinder.com brought me to the posting of Lucy and I really like what I see. This is put together very well. I hope we get to adopt Lucy, she looks so similar to our existing dog, Sampson. We adopted him 8 years ago from a shelter and have never regretted it. I'm sure they would have much fun in the snow together.

I love reading the Happy Tails page! Can't wait to adopt a dog this summer (I work in education, so I'll be at home all day for a couple of months to bond with my new pet!). I thoroughly enjoy 'window shopping' and reading the descriptions of the animal. Great website overall. Can't wait til June!

Nice website...I adopted a rescued dog last spring from one of our shelter groups here in Mn. after our 12 yr old dog passed away. Best decission we ever made. He has been a wonderful addition to the family. I encourage anyone who wants to adopt to research well so that you will really know what you're looking for in a pet. Research the breed, talk with foster families, ask all the questions you may have. There are so many doggies out there to love you're sure to find the right match for your home and lifestyle. My sister made the mistake of going on a whim and cuteness. She now has 2 rescued dogs that have many issues. The one is definately not a match for her family. He has even bitten 3 out of 4 family members. Yet she continues to try because she is worried that no one else would love him. Her house is just way too active for him especially with elementary aged children in and out of the house constantly. Trust me you don't want to go thru that heartache or worse having to send the dog back into the system. Research, Research, Resarch...ask questions...these animals need a furever home so be sure before you go ahead.
