Nice website...I adopted a rescued dog last spring from one of our shelter groups here in Mn. after our 12 yr old dog passed away. Best decission we ever made. He has been a wonderful addition to the family. I encourage anyone who wants to adopt to research well so that you will really know what you're looking for in a pet. Research the breed, talk with foster families, ask all the questions you may have. There are so many doggies out there to love you're sure to find the right match for your home and lifestyle. My sister made the mistake of going on a whim and cuteness. She now has 2 rescued dogs that have many issues. The one is definately not a match for her family. He has even bitten 3 out of 4 family members. Yet she continues to try because she is worried that no one else would love him. Her house is just way too active for him especially with elementary aged children in and out of the house constantly. Trust me you don't want to go thru that heartache or worse having to send the dog back into the system. Research, Research, Resarch...ask questions...these animals need a furever home so be sure before you go ahead.
